Note Globale : Commentaire : This DVD qualifies as a showcase for "The best in Celtic folk-rock". This is not a single-concert performance, but rather a random selection of songs culled from 17 different performances by musicians and groups from Brittany, Ireland, Scotland etc. I have given this DVD a five star rating for its rich selection of material and stunning presentations of the Celtic musical theme. There is never a dull moment on this DVD! Some of these performances are sheer, raucous fun (The Chieftains, Les Trompettes Du Mozambique, etc). Others portray the stronger traditional influences of this unique brand of music (Alan Stivell, Capercaillie, Iron Horse etc). It is encouraging to see more of this type of music becoming available in the DVD format, and I can assure all those who enjoy this style that they will not be disappointed! I can only hope that future releases will see greater effort invested in providing 5.1 surround or DTS audio quality.
